Welcome to my website. This website was established while I was a Member of Parliament. As Parliament has been dissolved from 30th March, there are no Members of Parliament until after the General Election on 7th May 2015.

Hugo Swire was elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for East Devon in June 2001.

After the General Election in 2005 Hugo stayed on as Shadow Arts Minister. Previously, he was Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to Rt Hon Theresa May MP the then Chairman of the Conservative Party

East Devon contains some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of southwest England. For that reason, much of the region is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can find a variety of coastline features in East Devon including sandy beaches in Exmouth, pebbled coast in

Every day, I receive dozens of campaign emails from constituents concerned about a huge variety of national issues. Whilst individual constituency enquiries will continue to be answered by email or letter, due to the vast increase in the volume of campaign emails now being generated, I can no longer guarantee replying to these individually and am therefore posting my responses here.
